A recalled offender has been returned to prison after South Harrow officers carried out a swift early-morning arrest following an emergency recall notice.
Officers were notified on Thursday 12 February 2026 that the individual was required to return to custody. At first light, officers attended the address, woke the suspect and arrested him without incident. He was returned to prison later the same day.
Police Sergeant Exworthy said, “This was precise, proactive policing by Harrow’s local team. Arresting wanted offenders is one of our core priorities, and the swift, calm approach meant the recall was completed safely with no risk to the public.”
Police say the arrest highlights the borough’s ongoing focus on tracking down wanted offenders, managing risk and supporting the Metropolitan Police Service’s wider commitment to protecting the public and tackling violence against women and girls.
