Plans have been submitted to turn a family home in Harrow Town Centre into a six-bedroom HMO, alongside two other HMO-related applications in Edgware and Harrow Weald, including one property that is already operating as a shared house and is now seeking to expand.
All three applications were submitted and validated on 9 February and are now being considered by Harrow Council.
At a property in St David’s Drive, Edgware, plans have been submitted to turn a single family house into shared accommodation for up to six people. The proposal also includes changes to the roof, including a rear dormer and new windows.
In Richmond Gardens, Harrow Weald, an application has been made to add an extra bedroom to an existing six-bedroom shared house. If approved, the property would move beyond the usual six-person limit and operate as a larger shared home.
Meanwhile, in Springfield Road, just off Greenhill Way in Harrow Town Centre, another homeowner is seeking to convert a family house into a shared property for up to six residents. The plans also include a rear extension and roof alterations.
All three proposals are expected to be decided by early April.
