Field End Road in Hillingdon was closed off by police for around 10 hours following a road traffic collision in the early hours of Sunday (22 February).
Emergency services were called to the scene just before 2am.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson told Harrow Online: “We were called at 1.57am today (22 February) to reports of a road traffic collision in Field End Road, Hillingdon.
“We sent an ambulance crew, a paramedic in a fast response car and an incident response officer to the scene. We also dispatched a trauma team in a car from London’s Air Ambulance.
“We treated a patient a the scene and took him to a major trauma centre.”
The road was blocked in both directions and bus route 282 was affected.
