A series of Roald Dahl film adaptations are returning to the big screen at Vue in Harrow over the coming weeks.
The season begins on 28 February with the 30th anniversary of James & The Giant Peach. The film follows an orphan who escapes his unhappy home life by joining a group of bugs living inside a giant peach, setting off on a journey to New York.
From 7 March, Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory will be shown, starring Gene Wilder as the chocolatier who invites five children into his factory.
The 1990 version of The Witches returns from 14 March, followed by the 30th anniversary screenings of Matilda from 28 March. The film tells the story of a gifted young girl dealing with difficult parents and her headteacher, Miss Trunchbull, before discovering she has telekinetic powers.
The BFG, directed by Steven Spielberg, will be screened from 3 April, with Fantastic Mr Fox joining the line-up from 10 April.

To coincide with the 30th anniversary of two of these iconic films, we’re hugely excited to bring the very best of Dahl’s work back to the big screen for families and first-time viewers to enjoy.”
The cinema is also promoting its Ultra Lux seating, which includes wider seats, armrests, a personal table and built-in cooler.
