A stabbing in Harrow Town Centre has shocked the local community, with many residents expressing concern following the incident on Station Road.
Emergency services were called on Friday (3 April) after a 19-year-old man was stabbed near the old Debenhams building. He was taken to hospital for treatment.
This afternoon (Saturday, 4 April), a Met Police spokesperson confirmed the man remains in hospital and his injuries are believed to be non life-threatening and non life-changing.
The incident, reported by Harrow Online yesterday afternoon, has sparked reaction from people locally, with some reflecting on how the area has changed over time.
One person said the town centre “wasn’t like this years ago” and described it as “sad to see what it’s become.”
Another said it was “worrying” to see incidents like this happening more often across London, adding that something needs to change.
No arrests have been made and police enquiries remain ongoing.
