Police have made two separate arrests in South Harrow as part of routine patrols targeting suspected offenders.
The incidents involved a wanted individual and a repeat offender breaching a court order, both dealt with by local officers during neighbourhood policing activity.
Arrest in Roxeth during patrols
While carrying out patrols on Northolt Road, PCSOs spotted a woman they recognised as being linked to outstanding theft enquiries.
They alerted nearby officers, who attended within minutes and carried out checks at the scene. The woman’s identity was confirmed and she was arrested without incident.
PCSO Nicholson said: “This was a straightforward example of good teamwork. PCSOs identified someone of concern, officers responded quickly, and the matter was dealt with safely and professionally. It’s exactly how neighbourhood policing should work.”
Woman jailed after breaching court order
In a separate incident, officers in South Harrow arrested a woman who was in breach of a Criminal Behaviour Order banning her from entering the borough.
She attempted to avoid officers but was quickly located and detained.
The woman was taken into custody and later appeared in court, where she received a 16-week custodial sentence, followed by a further 12-month suspended sentence.
PC Harrison said: “Court orders are in place for a reason. When we see someone deliberately breaching them, we will act quickly and proportionately to protect the public and uphold the decisions of the courts.”
