The full list of candidates standing in Harrow’s local elections has now been published, with voters set to head to the polls on Thursday 7 May.
A total of 55 councillors will be elected across 22 wards, with residents deciding who will run the council and make decisions on key local services. These include bin collections, schools, parks, roads, transport and social care.
Polling stations will be open from 7am to 10pm, with the count taking place the following day on Friday 8 May.
Important deadlines for voters
Residents are being reminded to make sure they are registered and ready to vote:
Register to vote by: Monday 20 April (11:59pm)
Apply for a postal vote by: Tuesday 21 April (5pm)
Apply for a proxy vote by: Tuesday 28 April (5pm)
Apply for a Voter Authority Certificate (photo ID) by: Tuesday 28 April (5pm)
Voters will need to show photo ID at polling stations. Anyone without valid ID can apply for a free Voter Authority Certificate before the deadline.
