People travelling to and from Harrow are being warned of more travel disruption this weekend, with several closures and changes likely to affect journeys in and out of the area.
This comes just days before Tube strikes are set to hit London, meaning it could be a frustrating few days for commuters.
On the Piccadilly line, there will be no service between Hyde Park Corner and Acton Town on Saturday and Sunday. This could affect people travelling from stations like Rayners Lane and South Harrow, especially if you’re heading into central London.
There are also issues on the London Overground, with no trains running between Willesden Junction and Richmond on Sunday. As Willesden Junction is a key interchange for many people from Harrow, journeys could take longer than usual.
The Elizabeth line is also affected early on Sunday morning, with no service between Paddington and Ealing Broadway until 7:45am, followed by a reduced service.
On top of that, a Sidemen charity football match at Wembley Stadium on Saturday is expected to make things even busier across north west London.
If you’re travelling this weekend, it’s worth checking your route before you leave and allowing a bit of extra time.
