Police are appealing for witnesses after a teenage girl was sexually assaulted in Croxley Green.
The incident happened on Saturday 18 April at around 9pm near a park area close to Barton Way and Malvern Way. A teenage girl was approached by an unknown man, who threatened her and forced her to perform sexual acts.
The suspect is described as having “messy” dark hair, around 5ft 5in tall, with large hands, skinny legs and a deep voice. He was wearing a black zip-up top with a white shirt underneath, a puffer jacket, skinny jeans or trousers, and black Nike trainers with a brightly coloured wavy design.
Detective Inspector Fay Tooley said: “I recognise that this would have been an extremely frightening ordeal for the victim, who is being safeguarded and supported by specialist officers within the Public Protection Unit.
“We know this will also cause a great deal of concern among the local community. Members of the public are encouraged to report any concerns or suspicious activity.
“CCTV reviews in the local area are being carried out, alongside other enquiries.
“As we continue our investigation, I am appealing for anyone with information to please come forward. Were you walking or driving in the area around the time? Did you see anyone matching the description given or witness any suspicious activity?
“Any information you have could be crucial to assisting our enquiries, so please get in touch.
“In addition, if you have any CCTV or dashcam footage of note, this can be uploaded directly to our online portal. Thank you.”
