An independent opticians with a branch in Harrow has won a national award recognising its work in the local community and patient care.
Eye2eye Opticians was named “Community Practice of the Year” at the SightCare Awards 2026.
The award recognises independent optical practices across the UK that are considered to have gone above and beyond in areas including patient care, innovation and community involvement.
The business, which also has a branch in Bushey, said the award was a major moment for the team after years of building links within the local community.
“This award means everything to us because it reflects the trust and support of our patients and community,” said the Eye2eye team.
“As an independent practice, we’ve always believed eyecare should feel personal, thorough and tailored to every individual. Winning Community Practice of the Year is an incredible honour.”
Eye2eye Opticians said it has spent years working closely with local businesses, councils and traders’ associations, while also holding community events and supporting initiatives aimed at helping local high streets.
The company said many of its projects over the years have focused on bringing businesses and residents together and supporting independent traders.
The Harrow branch of Eye2eye Opticians is based on Belmont Circle.
