Spice Rack in Stanmore has been awarded a five-star food hygiene rating following its latest inspection.
The Indian restaurant, bar and live sports venue at 35 Church Road, Stanmore, received the top “very good” rating after a visit by food safety officers on 28 May 2026.

The latest result is an improvement on its previous rating of four, which was issued on 10 April.
According to the inspection report from Harrow Council, all standards relating to hygienic food handling, cleanliness of the facilities and management of food safety were all rated as “good”.

Speaking to Harrow Online, Spice Rack owner Bandish said, “After a full inspection, we’re proud to be back to a five-star food hygiene rating. It’s a great result for the team and reflects the hard work that goes into maintaining high standards at Spice Rack.”
A five-star rating is the highest possible score under the Food Standards Agency’s food hygiene rating scheme.
