British Transport Police detectives have released images of three people they would like to speak to after a man was injured in an alleged unprovoked attack at Colindale Underground station.
The incident happened at around 5.50pm on Monday 25 May. According to police, the victim was looking at a map on the Tube platform to plan his journey when a train arrived and a group of youths got off.
One of the group allegedly kicked the victim’s heel as they passed. When the victim challenged them, the situation escalated and the group allegedly punched and kicked him.
The group then left the station while members of the public administered first aid to the victim on the platform.
He was taken to hospital where he was found to have suffered a broken nose and broken ribs. Officers attended the scene and arrested four people – three girls and a boy, all aged 15 – on suspicion of grievous bodily harm. They currently remain on police bail.
Detectives have now released images of three people they would like to identify in connection with the incident. Anyone who recognises them is asked to text British Transport Police on 61016 or call 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 563 of 25 May.
