Twenty-five fire engines and around 150 firefighters were called to a major fire at a business park in Brent, with around 70 residents evacuated from a neighbouring residential block as a precaution.
The fire broke out at a two-storey multi-use warehouse building on Oxgate Lane on Thursday evening (11 June).
At the height of the incident, most of the building and its roof were alight. Despite the scale of the blaze, no injuries have been reported.
Residents living nearby were advised to keep their doors and windows closed due to the large amount of smoke being produced by the fire.
Firefighters used four turntable ladders to tackle the blaze from above, while a High Volume Pump and a Hose Layer were deployed to increase the water supply available to crews.
The London Fire Brigade said it received the first of more than 85 emergency calls at 9.14pm on Thursday. Firefighters from Hendon, Willesden, West Hampstead and surrounding fire stations attended the scene.
Crews worked throughout the night and were able to bring the fire under control by 5.02am on Friday (12 June).
The cause of the fire is yet to be confirmed.
