Man robbed of £10,000 in gold jewellery and knocked unconscious in Harrow attack

A man was reportedly robbed of around £10,000 worth of gold jewellery and knocked unconscious during an attack in Harrow.

Harrow Online received a report stating that the incident happened at around 6.30pm on Sunday, July 12, while the victim was walking to work near Cygnet Hospital, between Harrow on the Hill and Sudbury Hill.

The report said the man was taken to A&E at Northwick Park Hospital and has been left suffering physically and mentally following the incident.

Police investigating Sudbury Hill robbery

The Metropolitan Police confirmed that officers are investigating the alleged robbery, which happened on Sudbury Hill.

A spokesperson for the Met Police said: “Police are investigating a report of a robbery which occurred at around 18:30hrs on Sunday, 12 July, Sudbury Hill, Harrow. This was reported to the Met on Monday, 13 July.

“Officers have since met with the victim as part of the investigation and enquiries are ongoing to trace those responsible.

“No arrests have been made at this stage.

“Anybody who witnessed the incident, or has relevant information, should contact police on 101 quoting CAD2134/13JUL26.”

The alleged robbery comes just days after a separate incident in Stanmore, where a woman reportedly had a gold chain snatched from her neck. Police are also investigating that incident.
