A restaurant in Rayners Lane has been handed a one-star food hygiene rating following an inspection by Harrow Council.
Sunrise Dhaba, at 396–398 Rayners Lane, was inspected on 24 June 2026 and received a rating of 1 out of 5 under the Food Hygiene Rating Scheme.
Inspectors found that improvement was necessary in the hygienic handling of food, including how it is prepared, cooked and stored.
The report also said major improvement was necessary to the cleanliness and condition of the building and its facilities, including areas such as handwashing facilities, ventilation and pest control.
The restaurant’s management of food safety was rated generally satisfactory.
A one-star rating means major improvements are necessary, although food hygiene ratings reflect the standards found on the day of the inspection.
