British Transport Police have released an image of a man they want to speak to after a passenger was allegedly shoved and slapped near Acton Main Line railway station.
The incident happened at around 6pm on Sunday, 19 July.
Man followed victim to nearby shop
Police said a man tailgated through the ticket barriers at the station before shoving a man in his 50s to force his way through.
He then allegedly followed the victim to a nearby shop and slapped him in the face.
Officers have now released an image of a man they believe may have information that could help their investigation.
Police appeal for information
Anyone who recognises the man is asked to text British Transport Police on 61016 or call 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 498 of 19 July.
