An 18-year-old man was arrested at Harrow-on-the-Hill station on Monday night after a report that a man had threatened to stab another passenger during a train journey.
Police were called to the station shortly before 11:30pm on Monday, 10 August. No injuries were reported in connection with the initial incident.
The teenager was arrested on board the train on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon.

A police officer suffered minor injuries during the arrest. The 18-year-old was also arrested on suspicion of assaulting a police officer.
A Met Police spokesperson said: “Around 23:28hrs on Monday, 10 August, officers were called to Harrow-on-the-Hill station following a report that a man had threatened to stab another man during a train journey. There were no injuries.
“Officers attended and arrested an 18-year-old man on board the train on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon. He was also arrested on suspicion of assaulting a police officer who suffered minor injuries during the arrest but did not require hospital treatment.
“On route to a police station, the man became unwell. An ambulance was called and he was taken to hospital. He has since been discharged and remains in police custody.
“Enquiries into the incident are ongoing and we are liaising closely with colleagues in British Transport Police.”
