Harrow High School is celebrating what it says are its best ever GCSE results, as pupils across the borough receive their grades today.
More than 70% of students at the school achieved grades 9 to 4 in both English and Maths, while 53% achieved grade 5 or above in both subjects.
The school also said 20% of its highest-achieving students secured grades 9 to 7 in English and Maths.
Headteacher Paul Gamble said: “These results are truly excellent and reflect the continued hard work of all the young people and staff at Harrow High. They follow on from last week’s fantastic set of A Level results and demonstrate our collective commitment to excellent learning and progress.”

Chair of governors, Keith Foster said: “This brilliant set of GCSE results is a true reflection of the hard work that all the learners have put in over the last two years and the unwavering support and dedication of our fantastic staff at Harrow High. I am incredibly proud of each and every one of our learners for their achievements and wish them all continued success in the future.”
