A new Indian sweet shop has opened on Station Road in Harrow Town Centre, replacing a business that had been there for more than 30 years.
Aarti Sweet Centre has opened at 3 Central Parade, Station Road, Harrow in the unit previously occupied by First Acupuncture.
The acupuncture business had been a familiar sight in the town centre for more than three decades before recently closing its doors.

Aarti Sweet Centre opens in Harrow
Aarti Sweet Centre is a pure vegetarian business specialising in Indian sweets, farsan and savoury snacks.
Its website shows a range including Kaju Katri, mixed sweet boxes, Chocolate Barfi and cashew nuts, alongside other traditional Indian sweets and snacks.
The company already has two branches in Leicester and another in Coventry, with Harrow now listed as its fourth location. The new shop is open from 9am to 7pm Tuesday to Sunday and is closed on Mondays.
Its arrival is another change for Station Road, which has seen a number of businesses come and go in recent years.
For people who have lived or worked around Harrow Town Centre for a long time, the change may be particularly noticeable given how long First Acupuncture had occupied the premises.
Aarti Sweet Centre can now be found near the big Tesco with the Harrow branch also listed on the company’s website.
