International music star Jay Sean performed in Harrow last night, appearing alongside popular London DJ and livestreamer DJ AG at an event in Harrow Weald.
Harrow Online attended the event on Monday evening, 14 September, with our content creator heading down to PYAANO in Chantry Place, opposite Hatch End High School, to see what was happening.
The event was held in collaboration with Brown Is Everywhere and saw Jay Sean perform in front of guests at the Harrow creative hub.
Jay Sean and DJ AG in Harrow
Jay Sean, whose real name is Kamaljit Singh Jhooti, is one of the most successful British Asian artists of his generation.
The London-born singer first rose to prominence in the early 2000s before achieving major international success with songs including Ride It, Do You Remember and Down.
Down, featuring Lil Wayne, reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 and helped establish Jay Sean as an international artist.
Joining him at the Harrow event was DJ AG, whose real name is Ashley Gordon.
The Tottenham-born DJ has built a huge following through his spontaneous outdoor DJ sets, which are livestreamed on social media and often feature both unknown performers and some of the biggest names in British music.
Artists including Skepta, JME, Craig David, Daniel Beddingfield, Central Cee and Jorja Smith have appeared during his sessions.
DJ AG was also named Time Out’s Londoner of the Year in 2024 after becoming known for taking music directly into communities and providing a platform for emerging talent.

Bringing more events to Harrow
The event took place at PYAANO, a creative hub in Chantry Place, Harrow Weald, which hosts music, dance, fitness, wellness and community activities.
Pari from PYAANO, told Harrow Online:“PYAANO was created with the mission of bringing culture, creativity and opportunities to Harrow and the wider North West London community, making high-quality events, classes and experiences accessible rather than pricing local people out.
“This event aligned strongly with that vision, and we were incredibly happy to have delivered it alongside @browniseverywhere safely, successfully and for our community.
“We have so much more in store at PYAANO, from pilates and dance to community events, music, wellness and creative experiences at our creative hub.
“This is all designed to give the people in North West London more opportunities to connect, create and be part of something exciting closer to home.”
Harrow Online attended the event and captured footage of Jay Sean and DJ AG at the venue, which will be shared across our social media channels.
