Lloyds Bank in Harrow Town Centre is set to close permanently next week, with new figures showing that nearly 1,600 customers regularly use the branch.
The Station Road bank will shut for the final time on Wednesday, September 23.
Harrow Online first reported the closure in June, but Lloyds has since published more information about how the branch is used.
Nearly 1,600 regular customers
According to the bank, 1,586 customers were classed as regular monthly users of the Harrow branch during the six months up to February 2026.
Most of those were personal banking customers, making up 94% of users, while 6% were business customers.
Lloyds also said that many customers already use other ways to manage their money, including other branches, online banking and telephone banking.
What happens after the closure?
Customers will still be able to use nearby banking services after the Station Road branch closes.
Lloyds has pointed customers towards the Halifax branch on St Anns Road, which is part of the same banking group.
The cash machine at the Harrow Lloyds branch is also due to close on September 23.
Customers can also use Post Office services for some everyday banking, including cash deposits and withdrawals.
The closure will bring an end to Lloyds’ long-standing presence at the Station Road site, where the current building dates back to 1904.
