A new Netflix comedy series is being filmed on Pinner High Street today, Monday 21 September, with actor and comedian Robert Webb spotted at the location.
Harrow Online visited Pinner this morning and saw a large production crew filming scenes for Marbles, a new family comedy created by Robert Popper, best known as the creator of Friday Night Dinner.
Robert Webb, known for Peep Show and That Mitchell and Webb Look, was seen on location during the filming.
What is Marbles?
Netflix announced Marbles last month as part of a new line-up of UK productions coming to the streaming service.
The six-part comedy stars Robert Webb alongside Timothy Spall, Alexandra Roach, Denise Welch and Loo Brealey.
The series follows a couple trying to bring up their young children while also dealing with the demands of their ageing parents.
It is being made by Big Talk Studios and Popper Pictures, with filming taking place this autumn. The series is expected to arrive on Netflix in 2027.

Filming on Pinner High Street
Production vehicles, equipment and crew members could be seen around Pinner High Street when Harrow Online visited on Monday morning.
The road remained open, although traffic was being controlled by marshals using Stop/Go boards while filming took place.
It is not currently known how long the production team will remain in Pinner or whether further filming is planned in the area.
Pinner has appeared on screen before
Pinner High Street is no stranger to film and television crews.
In September 2022, Hollywood actor Sir Anthony Hopkins was spotted filming on the High Street for One Life, the film telling the story of Sir Nicholas Winton.
For that production, parts of Pinner High Street were transformed to look like the 1980s, with several shop fronts temporarily renamed and changed for filming.

Hopkins was joined by actress Lena Olin during the scenes filmed in Pinner.
The area has also been used for a number of well-known television shows and films over the years.
Scenes from Channel 4 comedy The Inbetweeners were filmed on Pinner High Street, while the area has also been used for BBC sitcom My Hero and children’s favourite ChuckleVision.
Filming for The Theory of Everything, the biographical film about Stephen Hawking starring Eddie Redmayne, also took place around St John the Baptist Church in Pinner.
