People using the Jubilee line from Stanmore, Canons Park and Queensbury are being advised to plan ahead this weekend, with several closures affecting journeys into central and east London.
There are no planned Metropolitan line closures at Harrow-on-the-Hill on Saturday 3 or Sunday 4 October, but people travelling from Harrow into other parts of London could be affected by disruption elsewhere on the network.
Jubilee line closures
The Jubilee line will be disrupted throughout the weekend. There will be no service between Finchley Road and Stratford during Friday Night Tube.
On both Saturday and Sunday, trains will not run between Green Park and Canary Wharf during daytime hours, while there will also be no service between Green Park and Stratford during Saturday Night Tube.
The closures could affect people travelling from Harrow towards central and east London, particularly those changing onto the Jubilee line at stations such as Wembley Park.
TfL says passengers should use alternative Tube, London Overground, Elizabeth line, DLR and bus services where possible.
A41 works near Brent Cross
Drivers from Harrow heading towards Brent Cross and central London could also face delays for almost a month as lane restrictions are now in place on the A41 Hendon Way, with the Brent Cross flyover and its approaches reduced. This will last until 28 October.
TfL says journeys on the A41, A406 North Circular and surrounding roads will take longer while the work is carried out.
The A41 Hendon Way southbound will also close between Vivian Avenue and The Vale from 10pm until 5am on Friday 2 October.
A40 Westway closure
Another major route used by people travelling from west and north-west London will also be affected.
The A40 Westway eastbound is due to close between the Westway Roundabout and Marylebone Flyover from 10pm on Friday 2 October until 5am on Monday 5 October. Diversions will be in place.
TfL is advising people to check their journey before travelling and allow extra time where necessary.
