Star Wars inspired dance troupe coming to Harrow this Saturday

Harrow Town Centre is inviting everyone to celebrating the annual Christmas Party, STAR WARS style on Saturday 30th November, this year starting early from 11am to 6pm.

The combined theme of a Christmassy Star Wars was born, when one of Simon Cowell’s favourite acts from Britain and USA’s got Talent was booked, the known dancing storm troopers, BOOGIE STORM!

Linking in with the theme, there will be The Galaxy Marquee on St Anns Road where characters from Star Wars, such as the Dark Lord and more will all be available for photo opportunities.

The light switch on will take place at 5pm from the stage outside The Royal Oak, followed by a spectacular firework display launched from the roof of St George’s Shopping Centre. Fans of BOOGIE STORM can then come and meet them for further photographs at the stage.

Everything is FREE including meeting Santa Clause in his magical grotto on Station Road and receiving a wrapped gift. The face painter will also be on hand offering glitter paints and Star Wars sticker tattoos.

Included in Harrow’s Christmas Party, kids are invited to meet PJ Masks. They can meet the heroes, PJ Masks inside St Anns Shopping Centre during intervals 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm. Tickets are available here

PJ Masks are also offering the opportunity to win 1 of 3 PJ Masks prize bundles worth over £100!

Harrow Town Centre is also offering the chance to win £100 worth of shopping vouchers, simply join in at the event by wearing you best STAR WARS costume – there will be secret talent spotters keeping a lookout for participants.

The Stage at The Royal Oak is jammed packed all day set to entertain everyone. There will be: Norbury Primary School – Choir / Dance show from Kidology / Nicky Farmer – Singer / Dhol Drummers / Rock Choir / Gospel Choir / Indie Choir / Bollywood Dancers from KSparks as well as a Pantomime show from Harrow Arts Centre, and acts from 100%. Part of Harrow BID’s vision is to bring the community together, especially for those who find Christmas challenging, financially and emotionally, Harrow BID wants everyone to be able to join in and have a great day, without it costing them.

At 5pm from outside the front of St Georges Shopping Centre, the Christmas Tree lights will be switched on by a mystery guest. Once the Christmas Tree Lights go on, there will be a spectacular firework display.
