As part of International Women’s Day, Harrow police will be holding the first round of Walk and Talks in various places across the borough starting tomorrow (8th March 2022).
Walk and Talks are an initiative started by colleagues as part of their response to the local concerns about violence against women and girls.
The idea is that local women go for a walk with local female officers in their neighbourhoods so that their experiences and concerns can be heard.
This has now been rolled out across the MPS and we have the following Walk & Talk lined up in Harrow Tuesday 8th March 2022:
- 12pm-6pm on at Old Lyonians Sports & Social Club, 74 Pinner View
Female officers from the local policing teams will be in attendance at the event tomorrow.
Harrow Police will also have some other Walk & Talks in Harrow over the course of this week.
