Belmont Police have revealed that there has been a spate of car crime in the area over the last twelve days.
Posting an update via OWL, Belmont SNT revealed that they had a four catalytic convertors stolen on the ward which they described as “4 too many”.
The vehicles targeted include Honda Civics and BMWs. They also stated that an Audi RS4 was taken in a keyless theft on the 5th April.
The news comes as Harrow has seen a dramatic increase in similar crimes over the last couple of months.
Belmont Police noted: “We cannot stress enough to purchase a steering wheel lock to deter anyone stealing your high value vehicles without the keys. Car manufacturers need to keep up with technology and fight this plague.”
