Teenagers from Harrow could reach Britain’s Got Talent semi-final

A dance troupe from east London, featuring three teenage Harrow residents, could earn themselves a place in the Britain’s Got Talent live semi finals.

IMD Legion have been described as the ‘perfect dance group’ and reached the semi-finals back in 2015, sadly they didn’t make it to the final but are back this year, better than ever, for a second chance at winning.

Kerri-Ann Morrison, 16, from Harrow has been with IMD for approximately seven years, and was part of the 2015 BGT audition. Isaac Ward, 15, from Hatch End started with IMD back in October 2018 and Meesha Garbett, 13, also from Harrow joined in 2017.

Parents of the Harrow-based members of IMD Legion say that the group “worked so incredibly hard and were absolutely devastated that they didn’t make it further in the competition so they’ve now reauditioned on this seasons Britain’s Got Talent”.

Once again, the group got the famous ‘four yes’s’ by judges Simon, Amanda, Alesha and David, and earned a thunderous standing ovation from the crowd. The group are now at the stage where we are waiting to see if they get put through to the next stage, which will be the live semi-finals, to be held end of May as they are currently on the shortlist.

If IMD are fortunate enough to get selected, it will then be down to the public vote if they go even further and make it to the Britain’s Got Talent Grand Final.

As some of the IMD Legion members are from Harrow, we wanted to get behind them and show support for them if they make it to the semi finals. You can find out more about them by visiting their official Instagram page.

Isaac’s mum, Joey Ward, told Harrow Online: “IMD Legion are an extremely hardworking crew. they are all so dedicated, committed and passionate about what they do and they truly do deserve to do well in this competition. They rehearse, train and work so incredibly hard whilst still going to school/college/uni/work and fitting in other commitments such as homework etc.

“They literally train all year round and travel from all over to attend rehearsals in east London where their dance studios are located.”

Meesha’s dad, Keith Garbett said: “So immensely proud of our daughter and all the children in the crew, they work so hard and deserve the success, lets hope they go all the way”.

We would like the wish IMD Legion all the very best of luck, and fingers crossed they are selected for the semi final of the show.
