A man has been assaulted in King George Recreation Ground in Bushey after asking teenagers not to set a bin on fire.
Herts Police told Harrow Online: “Police are currently investigating following an assault at the King George recreation ground in Bushey.
“The incident occurred at around 10.20pm on 1 June. It was reported that a member of the public had come across a group of teenagers who were attempting to set fire to a bin.
“After he asked them to stop, he was followed by the group, before being pushed to the ground. He was then punched several times and kicked.
“He sustained cuts, grazes and swelling to his face but did not attend hospital, instead treating the injuries himself at home.”
