Terraced house destroyed by fire in Harrow

A terraced house was destroyed by a fire yesterday morning as six fire engines raced to Harrow to tackle a blaze on St Paul’s Avenue, just off Honeypot Lane.

Around 40 firefighters attended in the early hours of the morning.

A spokesperson for London Fire Brigade said: “Firefighters tackled a house fire on St Paul’s Avenue in Harrow in the early hours of Sunday morning.

“A terraced house was destroyed by the blaze. There were no reports of any injuries.

“The Brigade was called at 0146 and the fire was under control 0315. Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters from Hendon, Millhill, Stanmore and Wembley fire stations were at the scene.

“The cause of the fire is under investigation.”
