An elderly person has had their bank card taken in Kenton Lane by a cashpoint on Kenton Lane known to be a hot spot for fraudsters.
Harrow MPS posted via OWL: “Unfortunately, an elderly person had their bank card taken from the Tesco ATM on Kenton Lane on Tuesday 6th Sept at 1400hrs
“This particular cashpoint is a target for cashpoint fraudsters who loiter around customers asking to help then somehow get the card and pin and withdraw funds from the victim’s account before they have called their bank. We are trying to get TESCO to improve their CCTV which is not the best quality.
“Please be aware of this ATM and if possible, go into the bank to withdraw cash”
