Hundreds of people gathered for Harrow Town Centre’s annual Festive Fun Day today which included a spectacular laser light show.
The laser show capped off a day of festive fun which featured a series of live acts on a big stage on St Ann’s Road in Harrow Town Centre.
Shoppers were treated to a host of music, dancing and live performances from the likes of Harrow’s very own Indie Choir, Harrow Arts Centre’s cast of Jack and the Beanstalk, Band of Kings and others before the lights were turned on at 5pm.
Shortly before the light show, Harrow BID posted on Facebook: “We’ve had such a fun day, but it’s not over yet. The Mayor of Harrow will join us to turn the lights on on our Christmas tree then we have a laser light show.”
Hundreds of spectators gathered around the stage to watch the Mayor of Harrow, Cllr Janet Mote switch on the Christmas tree lights.
The impressive laser light show was visible from all around the town centre as they were projected onto St George’s Shopping Centre and surrounding shop roofs with accompanying music, one spectator said it was the “highlight of the day”.
