A woman was rushed to a major trauma centre after a hit-and-run on Kenton Road, Harrow last night (30 Nov).
The incident happened shortly after 11:30pm and resulted in Kenton Road being closed off by Police outside Kenton Station for over four hours.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called on Wednesday 30 November at 11.39pm to reports of a road traffic collision in Kenton Road, Harrow.
“We sent an ambulance crew, an incident response officer and London’s air ambulance to the scene.
“We treated a woman before taking her to a London major trauma centre.”
A spokesperson for Met Police told Harrow Online: “Police were called at approximately 23:40hrs on Wednesday, 30 November to reports of a collision involving a car and pedestrian in Kenton Road, junction with Hawthorne Avenue, Harrow.
“Officers and London Ambulance Service attended. The pedestrian, a woman – no further details, was taken to hospital for treatment – her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
“The car involved did not stop at the scene; enquiries into the circumstances continue.”
