Harrow residents are bracing themselves for delays and traffic disruptions as roadworks are set to take place on Kenton Lane, one of the busiest roads in the area.
The roadworks are scheduled to begin on April 29th and will continue until May 3rd.
The essential maintenance work is being carried out by Affinity Water and is aimed at improving their service to customers. The work includes stop tap replacements, meter fits, leak detection, and fixes among others.
Traffic control measures such as multi-way signals will be in place to manage traffic flow.
Residents and commuters in the area are being advised to plan their journeys accordingly and to allow extra time for travel during the four days of roadworks.
The roadworks are likely to cause inconvenience to motorists and commuters on Kenton Lane and surrounding roads although the bank holiday weekend will ease some congestion.
The work is currently in the advanced planning stage and due to start on April 29.
