Working in partnership with the Jigsaw and IMO teams, the police “fact find(ed) on the individual, identify and monitor relevant risk,” taking a proactive approach to safeguarding the community. Despite an initial home visit being conducted, the man continued to make unsavoury remarks to local residents.
Subsequently, the police received further intelligence from local trusted partners, which led to the man’s arrest on May 12th. The male was charged and remanded to attend court.
