Two men reportedly assaulted at Rickmansworth Aquadrome

Police are appealing for witnesses and information after two men were allegedly assaulted at Rickmansworth Aquadrome.

The incident is said to have occurred at the Aquadrome, off Frogmoor Lane, at around 8.30pm on Saturday 20 May.

It was reported that two brothers, aged 20 and 25, were at Canal Fest when they began talking with a group of around 10-15 teenagers.

Some of the group then reportedly assaulted both men, before walking off in the direction of Tesco. The victims fled the area and were assisted by members of the public.

One of the men was left bleeding heavily from the nose and required hospital treatment, while the other sustained bruising.

The group are described as being white, mainly male and predominantly aged around 16 to 17 years old, although an older man may have been within the group.

PC Sam Sydney, who is investigating, said: “Our enquiries are continuing at this time to establish the circumstances around what happened and to trace those involved.

“As part of this, I am appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information to please come forward. Did you see a large group of teenagers in the area at the time? Did you come to the aid of the victims? Any information at all could greatly assist our enquiries.”

Anyone with information is asked to please contact PC Sydney by email.
