An elderly man was robbed on Kenton Lane after leaving his front door open while he was gardening.
The incident happened on June 5th at around 11am. The man, who has not been identified, was gardening in his front yard when he left his front door open.
A suspect is said to have entered the home on Kenton Lane, Harrow and stole the man’s wallet. The suspect then proceeded to use the victim’s card in local shops.
Constable Toby Wilson, of the Harrow Police, said via OWL: “On the 5th June an elderly male living on Kenton Lane had a walk-in burglary where the suspect took his wallet and then used the victim’s card in shops around Belmont Circle. The resident may have left his front door open while he was outside in the warm weather gardening.”
