Harrow stabbing: Police cordon spotted outside old Civic Centre

A police cordon was set around the soon-to-be-relocated Harrow War Memorial and outside the former Harrow Civic Centre following the stabbing of a teenager at around 11:00am.

The area was cordoned off for several hours, with a police officer stationed at the scene until around 5pm.

The presence of the police cordon has resulted in members of the Harrow Online Group wondering what has happened and posting questions on the group to other members.

Harrow Online reached out to Met Police who provided the following statement on the incident: “Police were called at 11:10hrs on Wednesday, 29 June to reports of a fight and an injured male at Station Road, Harrow.

“Officers and London Ambulance Service attended. At the scene, an 18-year-old male had suffered a number of injuries including puncture wounds.

“He was taken by LAS to a north London hospital where his condition was not life-threatening.

“Anyone who witnessed this incident or has footage, but has not yet spoken with police should call 101 or Tweet @MetCC quoting 2873/28JUN.”
