Scheduled for next Wednesday, December 27, is a youth club hangout designed for children aged 9 to 14. Following this, a Christmas cooking party is set for Thursday, and a film club on Friday, both running from 11am to 1pm. The festive fun extends into the new year, featuring cooking, gaming, and gym sessions in the following week.
Established in 2015, the Young Harrow Foundation, a membership charity, provides vital support to voluntary organisations in Harrow. With a mission to foster partnerships and opportunities within the community, the foundation aids over 200 organisations through member-only grants, 1-2-1 funding support, targeted training, and more.
The diverse activities, resources, and training opportunities offered by these organisations are showcased on the foundation’s website, catering to children, young people, parents/carers, school staff, and other professionals.
It is worth noting that booking is essential for these free events, and spaces are limited. For more details and a comprehensive programme of events for children and young people, visit the Young Harrow Foundation website.
