Police find body in woodland believed to be missing Watford man

In sad news, police have found the body of a man in woodland this morning, 11 January.

Herts Police posted on X (formerly Twitter), “We are sad to report that a body believed to be that of missing Daniel was found by police in woodland earlier this morning (Thursday 11 January). Daniel, aged 30, had been reported missing from Watford on Wednesday 3 January.

“Formal identification is yet to take place but Daniel’s family have been informed and are being supported by our officers. We are not treating the death as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.

“Our thoughts are with Daniel’s family and friends at this very difficult time. We please ask that they are given privacy as they mourn their loss.”
