Roadworks starting across Harrow this week

Residents and commuters in Harrow should brace for potential delays this week due to a series of roadworks scheduled across various locations in the borough.

Harrow Council, along with UK Power Networks and Affinity Water, have planned essential maintenance and infrastructure works, affecting traffic flow and access on several key roads.

Starting from today (5th February), works will commence on Honeypot Lane and Lady Aylesford Avenue in Stanmore, with the former experiencing a lane closure and the latter a temporary obstruction expected to cause up to 15-minute delays.

Tomorrow, 6th February, will see the beginning of roadworks on Bessborough Road, Eastcote Lane, Masons Avenue in Wealdstone, Northolt Road in South Harrow, Pinner Road in North Harrow, and Streatfield Road in Kenton. These works will involve traffic control measures ranging from multi-way signals to stop/go boards, potentially causing delays for road users.

Additionally, Grafton Road in North Harrow will be closed from 6th February to 12th February due to planned works by UK Power Networks. This road closure is expected to significantly impact traffic, and residents are advised to seek alternative routes.

Roadworks in Harrow aim to enhance infrastructure, causing temporary disruptions. Motorists should plan ahead and seek alternate routes.
