Things to do in Harrow this Easter holiday

Next weekend signals the first Bank Holiday of the year and one of the UK’s favourite holidays. We are, of course, talking about Easter and, in this article, we’re sharing some of the great events taking place in Harrow.

Easter Crafting 23rd & 24th March

Kicking off the Easter celebrations is this great crafting event at the Parklife Cafe at 437 High Road, Harrow, HA3 6EJ. From 11am to 4pm, activities include:

  • Storytelling
  • Rock painting
  • Suncatcher window display
  • Greeting card making
  • Easter egg hunt

This event is free to attend for both children and adults.

Kids Easter Disco 28th March

Great for kids who enjoy throwing some moves (and adults who dream of their little ones burning off some energy before bedtime), the Kids Easter Disco is right up your street. Taking place at Big Shots Golf Club on Watford Road between 8pm and 10pm, this fun-filled event includes dancing, games, and treats for kids of all ages. Admission costs between £5 and £10.

Gnome Trail 29th March to 14th April

Keen-eyed kids will be in their element at Headstone Manor Museum from Good Friday as they use their observation skills to spot as many of the gnomes hidden in and around the museum as they can. Admission is free, and the event runs all the way through the museum’s normal opening hours.

Easter Bunny Trail 30th March

Pinner Memorial Park has some special guests this Easter in the form of some super-cute bunny rabbits – but there’s a problem; Mummy bunny has lost her babies somewhere in the park. Between 11am and 3pm, kids are invited to grab a map and use their detective skills to find all the baby bunnies at this popular Easter event. Tickets cost £4 per child.

Easter Eggstravaganza 31st March

There’s a lot going on for the kids this Easter so, it’s only fair that the adults get a piece of the action too. On Easter Sunday, between 8pm and 2am, The Spice Rack Lounge in Stanmore is holding a special event for over 18s with drinks, DJs, and more. Early bird tickets start at £6 and on-the-door admission costs £11.25.

Budget-friendly and fun

Keeping the kids entertained during the school holidays can be expensive but, thankfully, as we’ve shown in this article, there’s plenty going on in Harrow this Easter including special events that won’t break the bank.
