Man fighting for his life after being found unconscious in Kenton Recreation Ground

The bike track in Kenton Recreation Ground, Harrow, has been fully cordoned off by the police since the early hours of this morning after a man was found unconscious.

Police remain at the scene this afternoon and are likely to be at the location until tomorrow.

The man was taken to hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

Officers have informed Harrow Online that there is “no risk to public safety.” However, the public should avoid the bike track and the adjacent pathway in Kenton Recreation Ground, as these areas are completely closed off. The rest of the park remains open.

The cordon could be in place until tomorrow, Tuesday, 21st May.

A spokesperson for Met Police told Harrow Online: “Police were called at around 03.50hrs on Monday, 20 May to Kenton Recreation Ground, Harrow by LAS to reports of a man found unconscious.

“The man – believed to be in his 20s – was taken to hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

“Enquiries continue to establish whether there are any suspicious circumstances.”
