Police are appealing for witnesses after an elderly woman was seriously injured in a collision in Hayes.
Officers were called at around 8.36am on Thursday, 11 December, to reports of a collision between a car and an 80-year-old pedestrian on Reynolds Road.
Police attended the scene with the London Ambulance Service. The woman was taken to hospital, where she remains in a critical condition.
The driver of the car, a 20-year-old man, is assisting officers with their enquiries.
Detective Constable Rory Atkins, from the Met’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “Our thoughts are with the victim and her family following this incident.
“We are appealing for anybody who witnessed the incident, or who may have relevant dashcam or CCTV footage, to come forward.”
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has information is asked to call police on 101, quoting CAD reference 1749/11DEC.
