A 40-year-old man has been rushed to a major trauma centre after being stabbed at a parade of shops on Preston Road, Wembley.
A large police presence was reported near the junction of Preston Road and Elmstead Avenue at around 8pm tonight, Thursday, July 30.
Images and footage from the scene show a section of the pavement and several shopfronts remain behind police tape while officers carry out enquiries.
Emergency services contacted following Preston Road incident
A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service told Harrow Online, “We were called at 7.55pm today (Thursday 30 July) to reports of a stabbing on Preston Road, Wembley.
“We sent a number of resources to the scene.
“We treated a patient and took them to a major trauma centre.”

Met Police later confirmed, “At around 20:00hrs on Thursday, 30 July, police were called to reports of a stabbing on Preston Road, Wembley.
“Officers attended alongside the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance.
“A 40-year-old man was assessed at the scene by paramedics and taken to hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
“No arrests have been made at this stage and the investigation continues. Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101, quoting CAD7294/30JUL26.”
