Police responded to a report of a sexual assault in Queensbury Park on Monday (3 April).
Posting via a local Facebook group, one person asked: “Does anyone know what happened in Queensbury Park today? The police have closed off the playground area.”
A spokesperson for Met Police said: “At 13:00hrs on Monday, 3 April police received a report of a sexual assault.

“The assault was alleged to have taken place at Queensbury Park on the evening of Saturday, 1 April at around 23:40hrs.
“The victim and the suspect are known to each other.
“A 19-year-old male was arrested on Tuesday, 4 April on suspicion of sexual assault.
“He was taken to a north London police station and was released on bail pending further enquiries.”
