Harrow’s Local Policing Teams carried out two nights of action over the weekend under Operation Oblivionis, targeting key areas for acquisitive crime and anti-social behaviour.
The operation focused on Roxeth, Rayners Lane and Wealdstone wards, and used intelligence-led, proactive tactics to tackle issues in the area.
Police reported the following results from the operation:
- Three arrests.
- Two people reported for summons.
- Three penalty notices issued to street drinkers.
- Seven anti-social behaviour referrals made.
- A sharply pointed article, a baseball bat, a quantity of cannabis, and a dozen cannisters of nitrous oxide were recovered.
- One uninsured motorcycle was also seized from an arrested person.
A spokesperson for Harrow MPS said: “We are dedicated to tackling criminality and antisocial behaviour across Harrow; these will be dealt with robustly to enable officers to improve the service they deliver to where is most needed.”
They added: “We are striving to ensure that Harrow remains safe for those who live and work here, and the above results wouldn’t be possible without the community’s support.”
