A new multi-million-pound indoor entertainment venue is opening at Brent Cross Shopping Centre next week, with shoppers being offered the chance to win thousands of prizes ahead of the launch.
TeamSport will officially open its newest karting and bowling venue next Friday 29 May, bringing indoor go karting, bowling, arcade games, pool tables and live sports to North West London, just around 25 minutes from Harrow.
Ahead of the opening, the company is setting up a “Spin to Win” game inside the shopping centre from Monday 25 May until Friday 29 May on Level 2, with every participant guaranteed a prize.
The company says it will be giving away 10,000 prizes worth more than £180,000, including 5,000 races on track, free pizza and bowling.
General Manager of TeamSport Brent Cross, Tyler Fraser-Coombe, said: “We’re really looking forward to celebrating our full opening week with the local community at Brent Cross. This pop-up experience is a great way to give shoppers a taste of the excitement ahead – with everyone who spins the wheel guaranteed to win something.”
CEO, Gavin Adair added: “At TeamSport, we’re all about delivering thrilling, competitive fun, so bringing a little of that energy into the shopping centre before we’ve even opened felt like the perfect way to get people involved. We’re excited to build momentum across the week and can’t wait to welcome everyone through the doors for the opening itself.”
Those visiting on Saturday 30 May will also get the chance to see British racing driver Nicholas Hamilton testing the new track and taking on racers during the launch weekend.
The new venue will feature three indoor karting tracks, 10-pin bowling lanes, arcade games and pool tables, with activities aimed at both adults and children.
Children as young as four years old will also be able to use the new “Mini Racers” track designed for younger drivers.
According to TeamSport, the new venue has created 70 jobs and will also offer corporate events, birthday parties and group bookings.
The new entertainment centre is located on Level 4 of the Red Car Park at Brent Cross Shopping Centre and will be open seven days a week.
