Pinner dry cleaners burgled twice within a week

A dry cleaners based on Station Approach in Pinner has been burgled twice within one week it has been revealed.

The first burglary happened on the 31st July,  and the second on the 7th of August, both occasions thieves smashed through windows and doors to gain entry. Commercial premises within Pinner have been targeted over the last ten days, Caffe Nero on Love Lane, Pinner was a victim of burglary on 8 August with the a quantity of money stolen, and thieves also targeted The Pinn Medical Centre on 10 August although nothing was taken on that occasion.

Thankfully, only a small amount of money was taken from the dry cleaners on the first burglary and nothing was taken on the second. However, the inconvenience of replacing the laminated glass panels on both occasions is not something any business owner wishes to go through, let alone on two separate occasions within a week.

No customer clothes were taken by the thieves, the shop also has a metal mesh sheet behind the door window to minimise damage and prevent entry should anything like this happen again (as seen in our featured image).  Shop owners have also added CCTV to the premises with signage warning that CCTV is used and that ‘no cash is kept overnight’.
